[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]e all have some burning ambition and passions within us, eventually that very ambition is slaughtered by the most dastardly sentiments decently known as “survival”.One of the best movies ever made about freedom, Fight Club stated “We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’ll be millionaires and rocks stars and movie gods, but we won’t.We’re slowly learning the fact, and we’re very pissed off.” The reason is that we never took a stand for it, we always wanted to play the safe card rather than the trump card.

Believe it or not life is sucks, no matter how much you tell yourself life is beautiful or whatever it’ll always be this way no matter how much money you make or how many partners you sleep with , you’ll never be as satisfied as when your are doing things that you love, things that matter and definitely will make a difference, provided if you have the guts to stand by it .

There’s always room for remorse for those who aren’t successful at something , because they didn’t try much. Are you on a mission to an  unconventional career like photography, film making ,painting , sports ? If so read ahead

Here are some guidelines to to follow to set your dreams into motion.

Don’t you dare use the safe card .

One of my wise friend once said ” Even the animals always have something to chew over “. Don’t let your focus revolve around just the basic human need of house, wife/husband, food on the table etc. Bigger is better, if you only think of survival then it’s probably the only thing you’ll get, choice is yours either follow the crowd or stand up against it.

Man up, Be yourself.

First things first, be confident in yourself. There’ll be a lot of guys who will discourage you and critisize the steps that you take, dont listen to them they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. They just wanna sound like the ‘intellectual Mr/Miss know it all’  who made sense into you and your confused reactions makes them think so, don’t back away , concentrate on the things that you aim . People don’t doubt you they doubt themselves thinking your decisions can’t be done because they themselves couldn’t have a hand in it. Steven Spielberg couldn’t get admission in a film school, Big B was rejected by a famous radio station and the rest is history .

Be sensible ! Ask yourself whether you actually want it .

I have met a lot of guys who want to try something new just because they don’t want to work hard or don’t want to study and call it passion just to motivate themselves against these things. People who don’t know whether they are passionate about something or just doing it because it’s easy is an even worse condition , if that’s the case with you , you need to get your mind straight and actually make proper decisions or you’ll end up in a lot of predicament .

Be sensible ! Ask yourself whether you are good enough .

Passion doesn’t pays talent and skills does, live by these words. Check your own endeavor, find mistakes , correct them , improve your expertise don’t move ahead unless you are absolutely ready.

Plan it out !

An idea without a plan is just a dream. Do some R & D about your field, read success and failure stories. “A man can be called sensible if learns form other’s mistakes rather than making his owns” so learn form others . Discard things that are going to cost you, even it does costs you beg,borrow steel everything you need, do whatever it takes but be smart and choose wisely .

Don’t be afraid, take the road less traveled .

Like in the poem , the road not taken might look scarce and displeasing but you never know where it leads, follow it and find out yourself it might be beautiful or it might be ugly but the journey will always be worth it , instead of going on path where there’s already a lot of rush and competition.

Awesome things comes to those who don’t wait.

Don’t wait to grow old enough to do something , step out do things you want or at least prepare for it, check your priorities and work hard for it. Live and seize the moment, trust me the outcome will always be conducive , there’s  absolutely no harm in trying.
