Bob Dylan was right when he crooned these famous words. It may have taken mankind millions of years to discover fire, a few thousand years more to discover gravity but in the last 20 years, we have made up for this slow change in unimaginable ways. And technology has been our greatest ally. ‘Change’ is on high octane fuel off-late.
Emails have replaced those blue Inland letters, videos are now streaming on ubiquitous smartphones, black and white has been replaced by 3D, bills are paid online instead of standing in queue and exorbitant trunk calls have given way to free video calls. Change for the better is the new world order.
We are embracing such change in our lives as well. [highlight color=#3088f0 ]For the 21st century man, change is not a word anymore it’s a trend.[/highlight] Be it cars, fashion, technology, lifestyle, everyone’s going with the flow and changing with the times. Upgrading to an even smarter phone, a bigger luxurious car, a slimmer TV and more, is a reflection of the aspiring man. While the old has its charm, to keep up with change, one needs to let go of something to make way for the new.
Upgrading is the New Cool
Gone are the days when only a few carried a large and unwieldy mobile phones. Today everyone has at least one. We’ve gone from the glorified cordless to a snazzy 5” phablet. Angry birds have replaced snakes, touch is the new type and funnily, calling has become passé while selfies and instant messaging rules the roost. Whether you carry it as fashion or functional accessory, upgrading to a new gadget is always on everyone’s mind.
