Finally the fans got to see a breathtaking and immense episode of the 5 year running epic. After the fall in the ratings, deviation from the books, confusion about the plot and death of dear characters (not in the books though, WTF!), this is what remains. The 8th episode of Game of Thrones titled as Hardhome has brought an outrageous and appalling turn. Sansa learning the truth about her little brothers, Tyrion getting acquainted with Daenerys Targaryen, and the White Walker‘s raid on a free folk land came with such a pace that it was too much to take in, yet it managed to excite the fans and make them beg for what’s to come in next highly anticipated last two episodes.
Moving on, there were certain confusion about the events that took place in this episode, some of us (apparently most) don’t have any idea about the raid.
So let’s talk about the Hardhome explanation and also mention the awe that happened:

Apparently both Emilia and the rest of the world have been waiting for this to happen. When two Emmy nominees meet, the effect is close to a tornado meeting a volcano. Watching the same brilliant and important characters in a single frame is all we ever wished for, we only saw their stories co-existing in a parallel paths without the possibility of a cross road. Targaryen meeting a Lannister and joining forces against the common enemy to establish the same thing, which is power. May be Varys was right, Tyrion is allegedly a man of talent, as he somehow managed to persuade the queen to make him her political adviser. Let’s see what the duo is up to in the coming episodes. We’ll someday find out about the ‘wheel in motion ‘.

For now it’s unclear. He was thrown out by his dear beloved Khaleesi (again) and his greyscale transformation will soon turn him into the a complete stone man. So currently he’s in a lose-lose situation, he can wither to death in a desert or try to win the heart of Daenerys and still rot. As he’s too stubborn and crazy in love, maybe he is just trying to make amends with his wishes to see his love for the last time. Possibility is he can infect the whole town, his odds are even worse than Ramsey charging towards Stannis army with a strength of 20 men.

We can now see the assassin underneath the adorable looking Arya take shape. She’s forging her identity into ‘Lanna an Oyster seller’ (Though this identity was named as Cat in the books) and selling her way into Braavos, with an apt for killing. Arya is one of the most lethal weapons in Braavos, she could feed oyster or use her ‘needle’ to execute her targets. We witnessed her first assignment of killing an insurance merchant. Also, there are striking possibility that she might cross a name from her ‘List’. Meryn Trant will soon head towards Braavos. Also,Lanna is the best chance for the many faced gods.

By the looks and feels of it, Olly is upset of Jon for trying to make peace with the Free Folks who slaughtered his (Olly’s) family. Olly is angry for this outrage and is looking for blood (despite his childhood). We saw Olly was capable of ‘Killing Ygritte in cold blood’ and the rage within him is quite peculiar. He’s exposed to pointy and lethal weapons all around Castle Black, he could do it again without making a sound. The screenplay giving importance to this little guy is raising questions about his intention. Sam also confirmed that ‘Jon always comes back’ (in the mean time, Olly could conspire something to feed the betrayal quotient in the narrative of the show).

We saw what dragon glass could do to the white walkers. Apparently, Valyrian steel has exactly the same or even more effective capability. Jon had a sword wielded from Valyrian steel named asLongclaw. Valyrian steel alternately known as Dragon steel is apparently also carried by Brienne (Oath keeper). Maybe Tommen is also carrying Valyrian Steel because Widow’s Wail (Joffrey’s sword) was placed on Joffrey’s corpse and odds are it is still lying with him in the Great Sept of Baelor or the sword did pass on to Tommen. We know the truth but aren’t willing to reveal it.

Some wished that he was a Targaryen, but according to the books he’s the Night’s King. He has the ability to raise the dead into white’s. Last time we witnessed him, he was turning an infant into a cold and blue eyed little walker. He’s a greater threat than any poison or weapon around the whole Westros. He has striking similarities with Jon Snow, as he’s seen gazing at him and calling for war in the last few seconds of the episode. According to the speculations, he’s the 13th commandeer of the Night’s Watch (Jon’s the 998th). He later married a female White Walker with skin as white as moon and eyes as blue as sky. Epics have taught us that many great wars were all for a woman – Ramayan, Mahabharat, the Trojan War, the rebel against the Mad king and now this.
[alert type=green ]With this particular episode, the fans finally found the solace and adrenaline they expect from this show. With 2 episodes remaining, the fans will be helpless and dread the ending of the season for an entire year. But the story has to take its course, and it’ll be worth the wait. The North remembers!
