No more Bruce Wayne : DC to feature a new Armor wielding Batman

After almost thriving the cowl and the cape for almost 76 years Batman’s alter ego  Bruce Wayne is about to retire from his title. Bruce Wayne made his first appearance in a detective comics in 1939 and has been kicking asses of Gotham thugs ever since. But may be DC comics has decided to retire Bruce Wayne as the Dark Knight and instead will make some other character to bag the cowl and fill in the shoes of Batman.

and here we go !!

Scott Snyder the writer of Batman comics for almost 60 years indicated the replacement but never named him . Scott only stated that the character going to be the Batman will make such transition make sense and will also send out the message to the world loud and clear that just how much fun The Batman can be.

Not only Bruce Wayne but also the cape will be kept out of the picture, rather the new Dark Knight will wield something sorts of manga-style” suit of armor. Scott indicated that the new Batman will change the game, but will be unsure and uncertain of himself until the time comes.Snyder quoted

As the fans know Bruce ended his reign as the Batman in Endgame , while concluding a battle against his long time archenemy Joker , but his role wasn’t ‘once and for all’. The Bruce Wayne fans won’t have to console themselves , as his presence will play an eminent part in the morphing and  transition of the story , he might not be the man in the cowl but his presence will make the story take shape.

This supposedly desperate attempt of creating an armor and a new Dark Knight heir , is just to attract “Free Comic Book Day” visitors, offering them free comics and hoping to  bring in new fans to the industry.

It isn’t the first time DC is making their imaginations go wild and getting the better of them. They did an entire collective character re-imagined reboots, “The New 52,” in which 52 new comic series’ also featuring famous  characters, like Wonder Woman and Superman, with  some new characters.

Marvel also recast Thor as a woman, and Captain America as an African-American recently seems like no one wants to be left behind , what the world has come to!

It might sound like a disheartening news but Bruce Wayne has been holding the throne of Gotham for 76 years , give him a break , it might turn out to be something better.
