Ultrabooks were introduced as a concept of computing devices by Intel. It meant small ultra-light and yet powerful enough computers that boosted professional productivity. It was never meant for gaming because a gaming device could’ve never existed without a dedicated graphics processing unit and that component adds weight and reduces battery life drastically. However, Razer, a brand which is considered Apple’s equal in the gaming world has introduced as what it claims to have produced the world’s first Gaming Ultrabook dubbed the Razer Blade Stealth 13. Yes, a small, portable and power-efficient computer that also has a dedicated graphics cards that too an NVIDIA GTX 1650 that can crank up modern games. And weighs just 1.3 Kg.
One may point that the Blade Stealth has been in the market for long. Yes, it has. One may also point out that the last-gen also had a dedicated GPU (the MX150) but that was a very under-powered GPU. The GTX 1650, however, is a completely different animal.
Featuring the NVIDIA Optimus technology to skyrocket the battery life and balance the power and productivity, the new Stealth 13 delivers spectacular gaming and professional utility.
Coming in two variants for display, the 4K UltraHD touch screen or the FullHD panel, both packed with latest Intel 10th gen Core i7-1065G7 processor, 16 GB of LPDDR4 RAM for moving seamlessly between tasks and up to 512 GB of SSD storage (PCIe). The FHD model comes in with additional LPDT (Lower Power Display Technology) by Intel to extend battery life. The UHD one comes with a touchscreen though. But both the variants come with 100% sRGB colour space calibration for true to life colour reproduction.
The new Razer Blade Stealth 13 will also be available in a stylish Mercury White edition, equipped with a higher-powered Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor at 25 W. The 10th gen processor comes with Intel’s latest Iris Plus graphics, providing users with more rendering prowess in either creative suites or casual games. (Mercury White sports a 256 GB PCIe SSD and a Full-HD matte display; covering 100% of the sRGB space). Modern connectivity options include USB-C Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6 across the line.
Carried over from the previous generation include a customizable single-zone Razer Chroma RGB keyboard, a Windows Hello IR camera for easy and secure access, and a large glass trackpad with Windows Precision Drivers. The new line of Razer Blade Stealth laptops will start at $1,499.99 / 1,679.99€ MSRP and will be available starting at the end of September 2019 from Razer.com and select retailers in the United States and Canada and coming soon to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Nordics, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan.
