After a long span of 18 years, the heir to the throne of mobile gaming, Snake Rewind (successor of Snake) will be releasing on 14 May, 2015. Smartphone Games have traveled a long road and it is not going to be a cup of tea to steal the show. The game has to buck the trend for gaining grounds in the present-day market.

Original Snake was not developed by Nokia, although it used to come pre-installed in every single handset that Nokia sold. On the contrary, it was designed by a Finnish design engineer Taneli Armanto who is credited for pre-loading it on Nokia 6110 in the 1997.

Snake Rewind would sport a lot better User Interface and many more features, thus surpassing its preceding variant. It is being designed by the very same programmer but this time he has teamed up with the developer Rumilus Design.

In Snake, you were unable to revive the snake. This limitation has been overcome this time; if your snake bumps into the wall then the game will be still ON. It would be like as in Subway Surfers, Temple Run and many other games. Snake Rewind would sport new power-ups and the snake would be collecting fruits. Game would be divided into 10 sub-levels and each level would have distinct features. One of the levels will be the classic version that will surely bring back old memories. The app would be launched for iOS, Android and Windows and will be available for free on the Play Store.
